About the Spinney Guest House - AA 4 Start Gold Award
Originally built circa 1750 the Spinney has seen a few additions and changes over the years. It was at one time the rectory for the Arch Deacon of Barnstaple and following the sale by the church it became a family home and in more recent years a guest house. The Spinney has been a successful guest house for many years and Jo and David look forward to continuing and improving on this tradition.
After three years of searching for the right property Jo and David were delighted to find The Spinney; such a pretty house in an idyllic spot with fabulous views over open countryside and beyond to Exmoor. Whilst it has a truly rural feel, it is just a ten minute drive to the bustling market town of Barnstaple which is the regions centre. The Spinney is the perfect location to tour and discover the many delights North Devon has to offer.
In May 2013 The Spinney was awarded an AA 4 Star Gold Award.
