Our Guest Facilities
Guest Lounge - The Snug
The cosy snug with its log burner is new for 2012 and is an ideal place for putting your feet up and relaxing with papers or checking your email via the wireless broadband network. The Victorian games table is perfect for playing cards, board games or puzzles and a selection of books and DVDs are also available to borrow.
Tucked to the rear of the Guest house is a large garden for our guests to relax in and enjoy. With tables, chairs, loungers and a hammock, there is space for all.
This is the perfect place to doze in the sun, watch the sheep graze, the birds play in the bird bath, read a good book or maybe take your watercolours and paint the magnificent view that is North Devon.
The Spinney Country Guest house garden can provide hours of pleasure.
Afternoon teas can be pre ordered and enjoyed in the garden or the conservatory.
With lemon trees and orchids and shaded by the leaves of the ancient vine which is now over 100 years old, the recently restored Victorian conservatory is a quite wonderful place to take breakfast or afternoon tea.
The lemon drizzle cake is made with home grown lemons when they are available and sweet black grapes from the vine are included on the breakfast table when in season.
Storage for your Surfboard, Wet Suits, Bikes, Walking Boots etc...
At the Spinney we are very lucky to have lots of storage in which you can put your surf board or store your bike over your stay. We can also hang and dry wet suits and dry out dirty and wet walking boots.
We trust these small touches will add to the pleasure of your stay in North Devon.
