We have some of the UK’s best surfing beaches on our doorstep. Croyde Beach which is only a 20 minute drive away is famous for its surfing. Next to Croyde is Saunton Sands Beach which is a 3 mile long beach that appeals to surfers, wind surfers and kite surfers. Or alternatively why not head to Woolacombe’s award winning beach to enjoy a surf? At the Spinney we have plenty of space to store your surf board and wet suits.

Saunton Golf Club which is only a 20 minute car drive from us is home to two of the great mature links Championship golf courses in the World. Other great courses in North Devon include the oldest Golf course in England The Royal North Devon Golf Club, the plush Highbullen golf course or the course which from every tee has a veiw of the sea Ilfracombe Golf Course.
