Top Accomodation Provider in Barnstaple.

I realise I didn’t write the blog last year once I reopened. It was hard work keeping everything covid free but we got through summer and have had a fairly interesting winter. It has been quite quiet! We shall see what the new year brings as the vaccines are being rolled out and hopefully some sort of normality will resume in time for summer.
I have picked up a myriad of awards from travel myth and am now one of the top 3 luxury accomodation providers in Barnstaple. I’ll put the awards below.

While there haven’t been too many visitors I have had the Spinney reroofed. It looks wonderful and hopefully there shouldn’t be any more pretty patterns occuring on the walls if the wind is in the wrong direction. I’ve also noticed an increase in the warmth. The scaffolding is still up so I can have the tall gable end painted and I can have a go at the windowsills I couldn’t reach once the weather dries out. The scaffolding is a work of art. It goes over the conservatory without touching it, a photo can’t do it justice.

I am looking at how I can open fully this coming summer and still maintain social distancing for breakfast. I am assuming there may still be some regulations at least in the first part of summer. You may have to decide between breakfast with art or breakfast in the conservatory.

Bodge, the resident rodent manager has enjoyed isolation and has decided either I’m a cat or he is human, not sure which. He is currently in winter mode which means he only moves when strictly necessary for example dinner time. However the smell of cat seems to have worked with keeping the mice out this year.
