The Snug really is as snug as a Snug can be. It has a log burner and is an ideal place for putting your feet up, relaxing with papers, or checking your emails. The Victorian games table is perfect for playing cards, board games or puzzles and a selection of books are also available to borrow.
Tucked to the rear of the Guest house is a large garden for our guests to relax in and enjoy. With tables, chairs, and loungers there is space for all.
This is the perfect place to doze in the sun, watch the sheep graze, the birds play in the bird bath, read a good book or maybe take your water-colours and paint our magnificent views of North Devon.
Shaded by the leaves of the ancient vine which is now over 100 years old, the recently restored Victorian conservatory is a quite wonderful place to take breakfast or afternoon tea.
We also serve sweet black grapes from the vine with the breakfast, when they’re in season.
At the Spinney we are very lucky to have lots of storage. This means plenty of room for your surf board or store your bike during your stay. We can also hang and dry wet suits and dry out dirty and wet walking boots.
